  This is a relatively short and easy hike with a truly wonderful summit view. This one mile loop is doing friendly. We did it most recently with two three year olds, a five year old, and the dog. Everyone walked the whole way one their own. We are an active family, but by no means are we avid hikers. The rock scramble is optional, the path will take you around the rocks, and you can still enjoy the same view. The rock scramble was tough for the three year olds, but they did okay with support.
